The tree HAS to be colour coordinated- red and silver decorations like glittery stars and snowflakes but the kids get to decorate the angel that goes on top of the tree!

I follow your blog 😉 …I LOVE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS!!!! We have a massive 7ft tree in the living room with themed red gold and green decorations (this is the pretty pretty one I do)… we also have another slightly less wide 7ft tree at the other end of the living room with an array of multicoloured decorations that all 3 of the kids decorate together + this year Xandaar (youngest) has insisted on making a whole snow scene under the tree with mini tree’s a 3 ft one, 3 trains, a snowman, gift decorations and rainbow tinsel all around the edge. (pics will be on my blog soon it is so lovely)… we also have fairy lights all over the room, a light up train in the window, a window ledge display the kids did, and a big merry xmas sign with cute decorations hanging from it and a merry christmas bunting and 2 wall art trees with decorations… and then in the dining room we have a 3 ft fibre optic tree with rainbow decorations, a 3 ft tree each of the kids has decorated with baubles in their fave colour and a 6ft white tree with lots of multicolour LED lights and pretty sparkle heart decorations that say LOVE PEACE & JOY (so cute and makes the whole corner of the room glow it is beautiful) plus we have fairy lights all trailed around the room and lights with little snowmen/penguin/santas 😉 YEP love Christmas decorations! 😉 oh… almost forgot also have a big snowman, a sparkle sledge on the wall and some other bits up in the office too! I follow your blog and I decorate my tree with red and gold decorations. I have also bought some individual decorations that I like from local shops. I also have a tree for my kids as I sew them a tree decoration every Christmas with their name and the year embroidered on. I also hang their home made decorations on there too!

I follow your blog via email… my Christmas tree is a real mixture of Baubles and decorations collected over many years, including special ones I had specially made when my little miracle son arrived, we also make some biscuit decorations with stained glass windows made out of boiled sweets and you have to have a bit of chocolate hanging on there too..we are going to put it up tomorrow .. I can’t wait!

I decorate my Christmas tree with all the baubles I have collected over the years; they are not colour coordinated but so many of the baubles hold great memories of Christmases past and I couldn’t bear to get rid of them

Gosh where do I start?! We only have a littleish tree considering how many decs we have but I don’t want to get rid of any so I decorate the rooms with the extras. The tree has a red, silver & white theme & the tree itself is a green/black tree (can’t have a real tree because of the dog). My decorations are mainly hand made from craft fayres or charity decs, I have wired, beaded, glittered, soft, wooden, dough, metal, clay decs on the tree with a large wire star on the top. I also match the wrapping paper to the tree decorations including bows, ribbon & everything else that makes e present look pretty, now if there’s a gift from someone else & it doesn’t match my theme it has to go in the spare room & can’t go under the tree! Yes I’m very picky lol!

We decorate the tree while drinking baileys and listening to carols, each year we take turns at choosing the colours, my years are always colour co-ordinated but my husband chooses to use as ornaments as possible, it looks quite hideous, I think he goes for a cheap and tacky theme, lol. But it makes him happy and thats all that matters!
