Shopping at Next: Casual Outfit Spring/Summer 2013

Casual Clothes from Next

I must admit I like Next’s clothes, half of my little boy’s wardrobe is from Next. They have a lovely collection of boy’s clothes. I also like their women’s clothes – gorgeous dresses, fabulous bags and stunning shoes.

Next has also a brilliant collection of casual wear. I basically live in jeans as I can wear casual clothes for work, we don’t have a uniform or dress code. I like having a few main items in my wardrobe so I can easily mix and match to create an outfit quickly in the morning.

Short Sleeve Chiffon Mix Top

When I went to the Next store a few days ago, I noticed that their Spring/ Summer 2013 collection is already out. The store looked much brighter and colourful than during my previous visit.

I picked three essential items:

Gorgeous Short Sleeve Chiffon Mix Top (RRP £14.00) is part of the new collection. It is very stylish with a chiffon panel and animal print.

Boot Cut Jeans and Printed Top from Next

I usually prefer more fitted tops, but I really liked the see-through part of the top and the print on the front. It is all black at the back.

Dark Blue Rinse Boot Cut Jeans (RRP £20.00) are a fashion must-have this season, they look great with heels for a casual look.

I usually buy skinny jeans, however I noticed that I don’t have a nice pair of boot cut jeans in my wardrobe. Skinny jeans are great to wear with boots in the winter, but I will be wearing boot cut jeans with heels as soon as the weather gets warmer again.

Opaque Tights from Next

60 Denier Opaque Tights (RRP £6.00) are great any time of the year. I basically wear tights all year round, so I can never have too many of them.

Opaque tights look lovely with a nice dress or skirt, whether you are wearing a casual or smart outfit.

I was very happy that the items above came up to £40, so I managed to have a new outfit for only £40!

Casual Outfit from Next

So how would I style my outfit?

Boot cut jeans look great with heels, so I could have a pair of platform court shoes with my outfit. The snow has melted, but it is still quite cold, so I would need a jacket to brave the weather outside – PU Biker Jacket would compliment my outfit.

I could add some sparkle by wearing Flower Earrings, Crystal Effect Friendship Bracelet and Silver and Gun Knot Necklace. The outfit would be complete with a Zip Detail Tote Bag.

Although it is a casual outfit, I could wear it during the day or to go out in the evening with hubby. I would look stylish anytime of the day!
