Weight Watchers Original Bagels

Weight Watchers Original Bagels

I have been trying a few Weight Watchers products lately.

I have tried their reduced sugar jams and chocolate muffins and Jaffa cake bars. I have also tasted Weight Watchers wraps and they were all lovely.

I have already mentioned that although Weight Watchers products have less calories, they are just as tasty as standard products.

Weight Watchers Original Bagels comes in a pack of 4.

They are steam baked for a deliciously authentic crust.

They are also high in fibre as they contain added wheat fibre.

They are the standard size of a bagel, however they are low calorie and low in fat.

There are only 154 calories per bagel, which is the equivalent of 4 ProPoints value per bagel.

The bagels are perfect halved, toasted or warmed in an oven and topped with your favourite filling.

I really like smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel – I don’t have it all time, but it is one of my favourite sandwiches.

Actually, whenever I hear the word “bagel”, I immediately think of smoked salmon and cream cheese.

So when the bagels arrived, hubby went to the shops and got us some.

The bagel was very tasty with onion and chive soft cheese.

It was even more delicious once I topped it with smoked salmon. It makes a yummy lunch!

As the bagels were so lovely, I thought I should share them with others.

I had some friends coming round, so I decided to make mini bagels topped with smoked salmon and cream cheese.

My idea was to have a bite to eat while enjoying some wine and chatting. And it worked really well!

Everyone complimented how lovely the bagels were and nobody even noticed they were low in fat.

I came to the conclusion that I helped my friends to look after their weight and they don’t even know about it!

Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Bites

I bet if my friends knew they were having Weight Watchers bagels, they would have had a few more bites as they are low in calorie.

Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed Weight Watchers wraps and Weight Watchers Original Bagels.

They are just as lovely as you would expect them to be!

Weight Watchers Original Bagels at RRP £1.35.

They can be found at Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Ocado.

They have a long shelf life. Weight Watchers Bagels have a shelf life of 10 months.

Thinking about their shelf life, it basically means that, if I bought them now, I could nearly serve the smoked salmon and cream cheese bites as canapes for Christmas!

Weight Watchers Wraps

Weight Watchers Wraps

You might have noticed that I am enjoying trying different Weight Watchers products lately.

I have tried their reduced sugar jams and also their chocolate muffins and Jaffa cake bars.

So far, I have enjoyed them all and I couldn’t really tell them apart from a standard full fat/ sugar product.

If I was given the standard product and the equivalent Weight Watchers version in a blind test, I wouldn’t have been able to tell the difference.

Weight Watchers Wraps

Although Weight Watchers products have less calories, they are just as tasty!

Grilled Wrap

Grilled Wrap

Weight Watchers Wraps come in a pack of 6 Mexican style tortilla wraps made with wheat flour.

They have only 107 calories per wrap, which is the equivalent of 3 ProPoints value per wrap.

They are low in fat, hence the low calorie content.

However they taste just like any other standard wrap – you can’t even notice that they are low fat!

The wraps are high in fibre as they have added wheat fibre. It has all the flavour of white wraps with the fibre levels of wholemeal wraps.

The wraps taste really nice served hot or cold with your favourite fillings.

I personally prefer having my wraps warmed up in the grill machine, so they look like a Panini with less bread.

I don’t have a grill machine at home, but we have one in the kitchen at work.

Cold Wrap

Cold Wrap

I had a very tasty mixed roasted vegetables and chicken wrap and I really enjoyed my lunch.

We also tried the wrap cold, and it was just as nice. Hubby had a jerk chicken and sweetcorn wrap, it smelled great.

Unfortunately I can’t comment on the taste as it was gone by the time I had a second look!

However hubby mentioned that it was full of flavour and he enjoyed it – I could have guessed that by how quickly he ate it!

Weight Watchers Wrap retails at RRP £1.34. It can be found at Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Ocado.

While searching online, I have noticed they are half price at Tesco at the moment, so great to stock up as they have a long shelf life. Weight Watchers Wraps have a shelf life of 5 months.
