Amy Antoinette, beauty and fashion blogger, is hosting Next’s Winter Wardrobe Competition. All you have to do is create a blog post showcasing three items from the Next’s own brand fashion collections and illustrate how you would style each one for winter.

I love Next clothes! Not only they have an amazing selection of children’s clothes, they also have a wonderful range of women’s clothes and shoes!

I created three outfits: daytime, evening and weekend!

Next Winter Wardrobe

My daytime outfit is what I would wear for work. I am lucky the office dress quite is quite relaxed, so I could wear basically anything. I would like to be elegant and stylish. However I also need to be comfortable as I walk quite a lot during the day from the moment I leave home in the morning, drop little man at nursery and go to the office.

I would wear a cosy Alpaca Mix Stitch Dress styled with gorgeous black cable tights and stylish over-the-knee black boots. I would wear a classy Black Leather Look Bomber jacket to keep me warm and keep my belongings in a gorgeous square tote bag!

My evening outfit to wear once I have worked very hard in the office, it’s time to let my hair down and enjoy the evening. I have chosen a stylish Long Sleeved dress with embellishment on cuff, shoulders and waist. It’s such a classy and gorgeous dress. Of course I would need an equally gorgeous jacket to wear with the dress: Sparkle Jacket will keep me sparkling all evening.

I would style my gorgeous dress with a pair of glitter peep toe court shoes and gold glitter envelope clutch bag. As I’m in a sparkling mood, I should accessorize my outfit with rose gold sparkle bangle, berry long necklace and gold tassel earrings!

Next Winter Wardrobe

The weekend is here, so my weekend outfit needs to be casual and comfortable to accommodate my busy lifestyle. It needs to be child-friendly as I will be running after my little boy, running errands, hitting the shops and I would love to look gorgeous at the same time!

I would wear a cute stud heart knit top with lift and shape skinny jeans and orange knitted poncho. I would style my outfit with nude blister stitch metallic fibre scarf, neutral sequin bear beanie, tan buckle faux fur long boots and matching tan curve stitch large bag.

This is my Dream Next Winter Wardrobe! I would be ready for any occasion, whether I have to wake up for work, play or weekend fun, I would be showing off a gorgeous outfit!

I had a lot of fun creating my outfits, so thank you Amy for hosting such a fun competition! 🙂

My five Next key pieces for the AW12 season #NextGuestBlogger

Next has launched an exciting competition: Next’s Guest Blogger Competition in which they are offering the chance to win three outfits PLUS the opportunity to guest post about your style picks on our Style Secrets blog!

I love Next clothes, so I would have so much fun picking my outfits and I would be delighted to write a guest post about my chosen outfits, imagine how cool that would be!

All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is answer one of the following questions in the form of a post on your blog:

1. What are your five key pieces for the AW12 season and why?
2. Androgyny vs. Girly trend – what’s your view?
3. What are your favourite catwalk-inspired pieces from Next?

I have chosen the first question, I’ve been checking out Next website and I have come up with my must-have items this season:

What are my five key pieces for the AW12 season and why?

Belted Long Wadded Jacket (RRP £85)  is a gorgeous jacket, it looks very warm and cosy.

Not only it will keep me warm during the winter, it will also make me look quite stylish in the nursery run.

It is also available in black and petite. As I’m not the tallest out there, I would get a Mink petite for myself to warm me up in coming frosty days.

Alpaca Mix Stitch Dress (RRP £40)  is a versatile dress with detachable snood, giving me the option of wearing with or without snood.

I could wear it down with boots in the nursery run and wear the dress during the day at work.

Besides, I could dress it up with a nice pair of heels for drinks with the girls after work.

Patchwork Cardigan (RRP £35) is a very stylish and handy cardigan, great to have in your wardrobe this season.

The different patches will match with most of the clothes in my wardrobe, so I can just wear it when the temperature drops without any worries.

Over-The-Knee Black Boots (RRP £60) is an elegant and classy pair of boots.

I can wear it during the day or at night. It is very versatile as I can wear it according to the occasion.

Whether I prefer to wear it with a pair of jeans or a dress, I will be dressed to impress with those boots!

Orange Knitted Poncho (RRP £26) is a must-have this season.

Perfect for a windy morning when it is not cold enough for a big jacket but you need  something to keep you warm.

The orange colour is high this season and can be styled with other items of my wardrobe.

Those are my key items for AW12 season, I hope you have enjoyed my selection! 🙂
